Water is a limited resource in our dry climate. Using water wisely not only saves you money, but it’s the right thing to do. Castle Rock Water’s summer watering guidelines are in effect May 1 through Sept. 30. In 2019, the watering schedule was expanded to include the months of May and September. Residential watering is permitted every third day before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m. All water customers are assigned a square, circle, or diamond, identified by the last number of their street address. The symbol identifies their prescribed watering days. View a printable version of the schedule.
Certain streets in Founders Village follow a different schedule and residents are notified each year if this schedule affects their watering day.
New in 2018, non-residential properties must adhere to a three-day-a-week watering schedule as identified on the calendar below.
Properties west of I-25 are designated Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Properties east of I-25 are designated Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
This schedule is similar to what is being followed by residential customers and will help Castle Rock Water manage peak demand during irrigation season. Watering hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and are in effect from May 1 through Sept. 30.
Remember to use only what you need
