Auburn Drive Parking

Survey feedback deadline extended to Sunday, June 10, 2018!

The Town of Castle Rock values resident feedback. At a recent Town Council Meeting, residents of the Castle Highlands Neighborhood voiced their concerns about on-street parking along Auburn Drive. In response, Town Staff on April 11th, met with key stakeholders of the Castle Highlands Neighborhood including the Castle Highlands HOA, Reserve at Castle Highlands, Master Magnetics Inc., Auburn Ridge and Atlantic Development/Regis Construction.
These stakeholders offered their views on current conditions, safety and alternatives to on-street parking along Auburn Drive. Then three possible alternatives were identified:

1. Eliminate parking on both sides of Auburn Drive and stripe as bike lanes

Alternative 1

2. Stripe a bike lane on the west side of Auburn Drive and allow parking on the east side; relocate center line to allow more room for parked cars

Alternative 2

3. Allow parking in designated areas along Auburn Drive; prohibit parking in curved areas and near school bus stop to Wolfensberger

Alternative 3
