Volunteer Opportunities

  1. Ridgeline Wranglers trail maintenance outing

    Ridgeline Wranglers is a group of volunteers who help maintain and improve Stewart Trail at Ridgeline Open Space. The group has approximately 30 active members and three trained crew leaders. Training and support provided. A combination of the Town's Trails Planner, Open Space Supervisor, or Volunteer Coordinator participate and lead each outing. Please plan on being at the trailhead parking lot at 8:30 a.m. located at 2825 Coachline Road in Castle Rock. Please bring water and gloves if you have them. Tools will be provided.

    Castle Rock Water and Tri-County Health host this community event to give residents a means to dispose of chemical waste properly. Volunteers will help with various tasks including registration, off-loading vehicles, sorting waste and directing traffic. Volunteers may bring in their household waste to the event at no charge.
