Neighborhood Meeting - Proposed Garage Lot 6, Block 10, Craig and Gould’s Addition to Castle Rock, County of Douglas, Colorado (302 N. Lewis St.) - VIRTUAL MEETING
Virtual Neighborhood Meeting: Jan. 26, 2021, 6-7 p.m.
We hope you are able to attend a video conference meeting to discuss a proposed, detached garage at 302 N. Lewis Street. We are looking for your input. Please see the instructions below on how to join the meeting and to participate in the discussion. If you are unable to attend this last neighborhood meeting prior to the Historic Preservation Board hearing, but would like to submit written comments, please send them to Mary O’Callaghan, owner, or Julie Kirkpatrick, Town of Castle Rock, at the addresses listed below by Jan. 20 to allow time for potential responses at the neighborhood meeting.
A public hearing is required before the Town’s Historic Preservation Board. The purpose of this meeting is to allow the applicant an opportunity to present the proposed project, gather feedback, and address any questions you may have. The applicant and a Town planner will attend this meeting to answer questions about this proposal and about the Municipal Code requirements and public hearing process for this project.
Project Information:
Mary O’Callaghan, the owner, would like to build an approximately 830 square foot, detached garage off the existing alley. Please see the attachment for more details.
Due to recommended COVID precautions and social distancing requirements, this will be a virtual meeting, held remotely. If you are unable to attend this meeting, yet have questions or comments about this project, please contact Julie Kirkpatrick at the contact information below, by Jan. 20.
A project presentation will be made by the owner, followed by an opportunity for questions and answers from the audience. In order to keep the meeting running smoothly, the following ground rules will be observed:
- All participants should have their video/audio turned off upon entry to the meeting
- Panelists, including developer and Town staff, will have video/audio available in order to make the presentation and answer questions
- Questions will be held until the end of the initial presentation by the developer
- Please be aware that there may be many attendees wanting to speak, so try to keep your comments focused and concise so that as many people as possible can participate during the limited meeting time period
- Please be aware that the meeting may be recorded to ensure an accurate record of comments and questions about the project
