Tri the Rock results announced; Clear Sky Elementary narrowly wins school challenge

TriTheRock2016Results.jpg

All you have to do is try! Hundreds of kids put on their swim suits, fastened their helmets and laced up their sneakers to give it their best try in this year’s annual Tri the Rock youth triathlon.

More than 400 young athletes participated in this year’s event and helped raise more than $3,200 for area physical education programs – by signing up for the Give-Back Program, $10 of every entry fee went directly to the participating student’s school physical education program.

Clear Sky Elementary School won the Tri the Rock School Challenge for the fourth year in a row by having the most participants. However, Aspen View Academy was a close second. Clear Sky’s name will be displayed on a traveling trophy, which will be housed at the school until next year.
