A study is underway to improve parking in Downtown Castle Rock.
An important part of the study is gathering community feedback on the parking experience in Downtown today and hopes for the future.
Provide your thoughts to the team that’s working on the study via an online survey that’s available through Nov. 21 at surveymonkey.com/r/CastleParking. The brief survey should take about 5 minutes to complete.
As more amenities and events come to Downtown Castle Rock, it’s increasingly important for the Town to proactively plan to meet the community’s parking and access needs.
That’s why the Town and the Downtown Alliance have partnered with parking experts at Kimley-Horn and Assoc. to create a Downtown Castle Rock Strategic Parking Plan.
The main goal of the parking study is to identify solutions to ensure residents and visitors can continue to access Downtown Castle Rock safely and efficiently using their preferred means of transportation – car, bicycle, motorcycle and/or as a pedestrian.
The study team will analyze multiple data sources – including the results of the online survey – in developing a plan that will provide near- and long-term strategies to maximize parking and access within Downtown Castle Rock.
As the study progresses, information will be kept current at CRgov.com/parkingstudy. As the project progresses, information will be available online at CRgov.com/parkingstudy.
