Help shape the future of Castle Rock. Fill a board or commission vacancy

If you’re passionate about Parks and Recreation, or influencing the future of Castle Rock’s development, or public art, consider applying for a position on a board or commission.

While annual recruitment for the Town’s 13 boards and commissions typically happens each April, there are occasionally openings that need to be filled throughout the year.

There are currently five vacancies:

  • Design Review Board: one vacancy with a term expiring May 31, 2018 (Must be a Downtown property owner)
  • Election Commission: one vacancy with a term expiring May 31, 2017
  • Parks and Recreation Commission: one vacancy with a term expiring May 31, 2018
  • Planning Commission: one vacancy with a term expiring May 31, 2018
  • Public Art Commission: one vacancy with a term expiring May 31, 2017

Applicants must submit a completed Board or Commission Application to the Town Clerk’s office, 100 N. Wilcox St., or by email at rschonher@CRgov.com. The application and more information is online at CRgov.com/ApplyBC. Or, stop by Town Hall.
