Are you up for pushing your body to the limit? How about challenging yourself at Climb4Change to help benefit a worthy cause? Join the fifth annual Climb4Change event Saturday, May 11 to help raise money and awareness for the Town’s Adaptive Recreation program.
The Adaptive Recreation program supports members of the community, and their families, who have cognitive and physical disabilities and helps them live a more active lifestyle. Funds raised at this event are used to provide scholarships and adaptive equipment.
The event will include five races held from 8 a.m. to noon on the Challenge Hill at Philip S. Miller Park. Unique to Castle Rock, the 200-step incline offers a challenging workout and a great way to give back. The Climb4Change races are:
Registration includes coffee, snacks, a participation medal and T-shirt. Fees range from $18 to $40, depending on the course and when you register. Kids under 5 are free. Head to CRgov.com/Climb4Change for more information and registration.
On-site packet pickup and registration begins at 7 a.m. the day of the event. Power Hour begins at 8 a.m.; the Trail Reps begins at 9:25 a.m.; the ClimbNRun 5K begins at 10:15 a.m.; Race to the Top begins at 11 a.m.; and the Run4Fun event begins at 11:30 a.m. Results and prizes will be awarded at noon.
