The Riverwalk Project

Riverwalk

The Riverwalk project represents a partnership between Confluence Companies, the Town and the Downtown Development Authority.

As a residential re-development of two blocks of Downtown Castle Rock - bookending both sides of Sellars Gulch along the west side of Wilcox Street - Riverwalk is adjacent to the newly renovated Festival Park and is poised to maximize both residents’ and visitors’ experiences.

Riverwalk is set to bring a mixed use of retail, residential and office space. New buildings will include 30,000 square feet of office space, 11,000 square feet of retail space and 228 apartments. The development will also add 328 new parking spaces Downtown. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in Spring 2019.

Buckle Up Better Roads Ahead

Where do your sales tax dollars go?

One of many essential services supported by sales tax revenue is our roads. Did you know that 70% of our transportation fund is generated by sales tax? The Town is maintaining current infrastructure to improve safety and efficiency on the road. Starting in 2018, the Town will invest more than $21 million in local and grant funding to improve our road infrastructure, bringing safer and smoother access.

Water Wiser

Castle Rock Water

On March 6, 2018 Town Council approved on first reading two ordinances concerning water restrictions and the 2018 Landscape & Irrigation Performance Standards Manual. Council also adopted two resolutions: the 2018 Water Use Management Plan (WUMP), and the 2018 Conservation Rebate Incentive Program. The Water Use Management Plan is the main planning document that helps recognize where conservation will make the biggest impact. Changes to the Conservation Rebate Program included a pilot program to offer rebates for non-residential SmartScape renovations. Learn more about the Water Wiser program at CRconserve.com
