Neighborhood Meeting - Proposed Rezoning - GT Sanders Rezoning Request - VIRTUAL MEETING

Virtual Neighborhood Meeting: Sept. 28, 2020, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

You are cordially invited to a virtual neighborhood meeting regarding a proposed rezoning in your area. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this meeting represents the second required neighborhood meeting, following the first neighborhood meeting on July 15, 2020, and will take place Monday, Sept. 28, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. via a WebEx Meeting. This notice is going to all landowners within 500’ of the project site.

Intergroup Architects is working with GT Sanders on the development of their new showroom/warehouse building at 1004 S. Interstate 25, Castle Rock, CO. A formal submittal of a Planned Development Plan and Zoning Regulations has gone through an initial review by the Town of Castle Rock. We are requesting additional feedback while going through the review process with the Town.

Project Narrative
The current zoning for the 11.9-acre site is R-1. The request is to change the R-1 Zone to Planned Development (PD). Possible uses that are anticipated for future projects will be: commercial warehouse and logistics, light industrial, wholesale, manufacturing, processing and fabrication, retail, indoor recreation facilities, and personal service shops. GT Sanders intend to develop their new showroom/warehouse building on approximately 2.6 acres of the property with future development of the remaining property not identified at this time.

A Project Location Map and Site Plan can be found at the below link. Please refer to those drawings for additional information.
