Neighborhood Meeting #2 - Major Zoning Amendment for 667 North Ridge Road (Memmen Property) and Annexation of 5 Acre Parcel

To Whom It May Concern:
Notice is hereby given that Macor LLC has submitted an application to the Town of Castle Rock for a Major Zoning Amendment to change the land use and density of approximately 175 acres and requests a variance for the Skyline / Ridgeline Ordinance. The current approved density allows for 1,035 dwelling units, and the proposed amendment will allow for approximately 550 single-family duplex and detached homes. This will be our second neighborhood meeting concerning the 175 acre property.

Notice is also hereby given that Macor LLC plans to make an application for annexation and zoning with the Town of Castle Rock for the 5-acre parcel located in the center of the 175-acre parcel. The 5-acre parcel is currently unplatted and contains one residence and cellular tower in unincorporated Douglas County. The proposed zoning and annexation will allow for approximately 50 additional single-family attached homes. This will be our first neighborhood meeting concerning the 5-acre property.

The subject property is addressed as 667 N. Ridge Road located approximately one-half mile east of State Highway 86 on the south side of Ridge Road, Town of Castle Rock, Colorado. The site is located in the west half of Section 7, Township 8 South, Range 66 west and the east half of Section 12, Township 8 South, Range 67 west of the Sixth Principal Meridian. The property is commonly known as the Memmen Property.

I would like to invite you and all interested parties to attend a neighborhood meeting regarding said application at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020. The public meeting will be held at Rock Ridge Elementary School Cafeteria, located at 400 N. Heritage Road, Castle Rock, Colorado.

The neighborhood meeting will provide an opportunity for attendees / neighbors to provide input and ask questions about the proposed new development.
